A wellness club built in Neath, for everyone

Co-founded by two local sportsmen who know what elite training and recovery demand, and want that standard of care close to home.

Our story

Nü Wellness Club began with two local sportsmen and a simple idea: everyone in Neath and the surrounding valleys deserves access to the kind of recovery, strength and mobility work that elite athletes rely on.

Craig and Kerry spent years training, competing and recovering at the top of their sports. They saw first-hand how much good recovery, mobility and strength work matter to how you feel, perform and stay injury-free.

So they built a welcoming community club on Fairfield Way, where first-timers and athletes alike can reset, recover and rise, with everything under one roof.

Meet the founders

CO-FOUNDER

Craig Evans

Craig is a Neath-born, Glynneath-raised professional rugby union referee with the Welsh Rugby Union, and a qualified personal trainer. He took up refereeing as a teenager when his youth team folded, and went on to referee at the very top of the game: the World Rugby Sevens Series, the Commonwealth Games and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic sevens, before moving to 15-a-side full time.

He made his Six Nations debut in 2021 (Italy v Ireland), was named in World Rugby's Tier One select group of referees that year, was part of the match officials team at Rugby World Cup 2023, and has refereed regularly in the United Rugby Championship and European competition. In 2026 he was appointed to referee the opening match of World Rugby's new Nations Cup.

A career spent training, travelling and recovering at elite level showed him how much recovery, mobility and strength work matter, and he co-founded Nü to bring that standard of care home to Neath.

CO-FOUNDER

Kerry Nicholas

Kerry is a former goalkeeper who played in the Welsh Premier League, now the Cymru Premier. Years of top-flight football taught him the value of strength, mobility and good recovery, and the difference they make to how you feel, perform and stay injury-free.

Kerry co-founded Nü to build a welcoming community club where everyone, from first-timers to athletes, can reset, recover and rise.

What we stand for

Reset

Time to step away from the day. Warm light, slow breathing and space to switch off, whenever you need it.

Recover

Recovery given the same care as training, never an afterthought. Heat, cold, pressure and rest, with a team who know what training demands.

Rise

Stronger, more mobile and more confident, whether you are a first-timer or preparing for match day.
